    Dwayne Bird is an accomplished Indigenous Creative Director, Strategist, Media/Public Relations and Engagement Specialist, and the founder of IndigPro and 1st People's Print Shop. With numerous award nominations for his outstanding contributions to marketing communications, Dwayne's success is rooted in his passion for creativity, strategy, and business.

    Hailing from the Peguis First Nation in Treaty One Territory, Dwayne is a symbolic figure of pride for Ojibwe people. He graduated from the Red River College Digital Multimedia Technology Program with a Major in Motion Graphics, holds a Radio and Television Broadcasting Diploma, and is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Commerce in Indigenous Business at Athabasca University.

    With over two decades of experience, Dwayne has led highly successful campaigns, including COVID-19 Indigenous Mental Health Awareness and COVID-19 General Awareness for the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations. He also spearheaded the Red River College Indigenous Education Rebrand and Student Achievement Strategy campaigns. His clients, including Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN), University of Waterloo, University of Calgary, University of Manitoba, University of Winnipeg, and the Aboriginal Chamber of Commerce, have seen significant improvement in their bottom lines.

    What sets Dwayne apart is his commitment to empowering Indigenous peoples and communities through his businesses. He strives to drive positive change with integrity, leadership, teamwork, and ownership. When not busy crafting innovative solutions for his clients, Dwayne enjoys spending time outdoors and doing activities with his three children.
